Volunteer

Corporate Angel Network could absolutely not succeed without the dedicated service of our volunteers. They are vital to our program and the lifeline of our organization. We sincerely thank all of them for their support as their generosity and time has helped saved numerous lives!

Who They Work With

Volunteers interact with a plethora of people in order to successfully match flights with those needing them. They have the opportunity to work with all of the following:

  • Patients and their families

  • Corporate flight departments

  • Flight schedulers

  • Pilots

  • Dispatchers and corporate assistants

  • Fixed-Based Operations (FBOs)

  • Charter companies

  • Fractional ownership companies

  • Doctors and nurses

  • Social workers at cancer treatment centers

  • Private car operators

  • Corporate communications departments

  • Members of the media

What They Do

Locally, from our offices at the Westchester County Airport in White Plains, NY, 35 volunteers donate anywhere from a few hours a day to a few days a week. Their duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Registering new patients

  • Screening eligibility

  • Entering flight schedules into our database

  • Scheduling flights

  • Assisting in ground transportation recommendations

  • Researching and contacting new corporations

  • Generating press coverage

  • Placing pro-bono print ads

If you are interested, have a few hours to spare each week, and would like to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients, we’d love to hear from you! Please don’t hesitate to contact us by using this form, or by phone at (914) 328-1313.
