Logistics
Simply call our office no more than three weeks, and no less than
one week before a specific appointment (we cannot register you before
then) or discharge from a cancer treatment center. Upon registration,
we will check with your physician to verify you can walk up and down
the steps to a small aircraft unassisted, and are not in need of oxygen,
IV or other medical support onboard. We also check with your treatment
center for security reasons.
Our 60 dedicated part-time volunteers work diligently to find a corporate
flight matching your requested travel route and dates. They are available
to answer all your questions. Unfortunately, we can never guarantee
we can get you a flight (even if we find you one, since these are
business flights and plans can always change). Therefore, you must
make back-up arrangements with the travel agency or airline of your
choice.
As soon as we find a likely trip, we contact you and provide you with
all the details of your trip.
