CORPORATE ANGEL AWARD
HONORS LIMITED BRANDS
White Plains, NY; May 6, 2003 - Corporate Angel Network, a national
public charity whose sole mission is to arrange free flights for
cancer patients to treatment using empty seats on corporate jets,
announced today that Limited Brands is the recipient of this quarter's
Corporate Angel Award.
Established in 2001 by ChevronTexaco and Business & Commercial
Aviation magazine (B/CA), the quarterly award recognizes corporations
for outstanding dedication and service to cancer patients through
their participation in Corporate Angel Network.
The Corporate Angel Award honors Limited Brands and its flight
department for devoted and highly responsive service to cancer
patients. Since joining in 1999, Limited Brands has been very
active, transporting countless men, women and children to cancer
treatment centers across the country. In 2002 alone, the company
logged 52 such flights on its shuttle and executive aircraft.
ChevronTexaco is recognizing Limited Brands with a full-page advertisement
in the May issue of B/CA, $5,000 worth of ChevronTexaco aviation
fuel, and a plaque commemorating the award.
Timothy P. Stehle, Director of Flight Operations, acknowledged
the award, saying, "On behalf of the entire Limited Brands
Flight Department, I am honored and gratified to receive this
recognition. We're happy to contribute to the success of such
a great program."
Founded in 1963 by chairman and CEO Leslie H. Wexner with the
opening of one women's apparel store in Columbus, Ohio, Limited

income from the advertisement to Corporate Angel Network, has

60 part-time volunteers and six paid staff who work with patients,
physicians, corporate flight departments and leading treatment
centers to coordinate medical travel needs of cancer victims.
To date, Corporate Angel Network has arranged almost 17,000 flights,
and currently provides more than 150 patient flights per month.
