Flight Options Owners Donate

10 Fractional Hours to Corporate Angel Network

Sixth Straight Year of Support for Cancer Patients

White Plains, NY—(Jan. 10, 2007)—Corporate Angel Network (CAN), the national non-profit organization that provides free air transportation for cancer patients by using empty seats on corporate and fractional aircraft, announced today that Flight Options, LLC, a leading provider of fractional shares in business aircraft and a Raytheon Company, donated ten hours of fractional jet flight time to CAN on behalf of its owners. This is the sixth straight year that Flight Options has donated flight time to CAN.

“We are pleased to have provided CAN this gift on behalf of our owners. These hours will be used to fly the most critical in need or auctioned off through charity to raise funds for those in need. Either way — those in need are winners,” said S. Michael Scheeringa, Flight Options’ Chief Operating Executive.

“The continued and generous donations from Flight Options owners clearly increases the number of flights we are able to offer to cancer patients who need to travel for treatment,” said Peter Fleiss, Corporate Angel Network’s Executive Director. “These flights often make a critical and lasting difference in the lives of our patients. Flight Options was the first fractional ownership program to join Corporate Angel Network, and we are delighted that they continue to support our efforts.”

About Corporate Angel Network

Corporate Angel Network arranges free flights to treatment for cancer patients using the empty seats on corporate flights. Since its founding 25 years ago, CAN has grown to include 530 participating corporations, five paid staff, and a team of 50 part-time volunteers who work with patients, physicians, corporate flight departments, and leading treatment centers to coordinate medical travel needs of cancer patients with the scheduled flight activity of participating corporations. To date, CAN has arranged nearly 25,000 flights and currently provides about 200 patient flights a month. CAN has received numerous awards in recognition of its service to cancer patients, including The Volunteer Action Award, the highest volunteer award from the President of the United States.
