CORPORATE ANGEL NETWORK RECEIVES
$10,000 DONATION FROM RAYTHEON TRAVEL AIR
Representating Over 600 Fractional Owners
WHITE PLAINS, NY - Corporate Angel Network, Inc., a not-for-profit
organization that arranges for empty seats in corporate jets to be
filled by cancer patients traveling to treatment centers, announced
the receipt of a $10,000 donation from Raytheon Travel Air representing
over 600 fractional aircraft owners.
In a December 19th presentation held at Corporate Angel Network’s
Westchester County Airport Headquarters, George Kocher, Travel Air’s
Regional Sales Manager, presented a check to Thomas Robertazzi, Corporate
Angel Network’s Executive Director. "In the spirit of the
holiday season,” said Kocher, “we could not think of a
more worthy cause, or one more befitting the spirit and generosity
of our owners.”
Raytheon Travel Air, a Raytheon Aircraft company, is a fractional
aircraft ownership company headquartered in Wichita Kansas. The fractional
ownership program allows owners to purchase a share of an airplane.
How much of a share is determined by how many hours the owner expects
to use the airplane annually. Although the customer owns a fraction
of just one aircraft, the owner can migrate, moving up or down to
another model in the fleet to satisfy the needs of a particular mission.
Corporate Angel Network has attracted more than 500 of America's largest
corporations, including 56 of the Fortune 100, into its network. Participation
is now expanding to include fractional operators and their aircraft
owners.
Since its inception in 1981, Corporate Angel Network has arranged
for more than 13,000 flights and won numerous awards for volunteerism,
including two presidential citations. This public charity operates
out of space donated by the Westchester County Airport, with a paid
staff of four and the assistance of 60 volunteers
